The rules for using this website, in as little legalese as the subject allows.
1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using tophomeplan.com (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What this Site is
The Site publishes independent editorial reviews, rankings and buying guides for consumer home products. We do not sell products. We hold no stock, process no orders, ship nothing and service nothing. All purchases are made with third-party retailers under their own terms.
3. Use of the Site
You may read, print and share our content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
- republish, scrape or systematically copy content from the Site;
- use the Site or its content to train machine-learning models without written permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or any related systems;
- use the Site in any way that is unlawful, or that disrupts or overloads it;
- misrepresent an affiliation with, or endorsement by, Top Home Plan.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, rankings, scoring methodology, graphics, logos and layout — is owned by Top Home Plan or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. Product names and brand marks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only; their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
Short quotations with clear attribution and a link back are permitted.
5. Affiliate relationships
The Site contains affiliate links and earns commission on qualifying purchases. This is disclosed on every page containing such links and set out in full in our Affiliate Disclosure, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, availability, pricing, accuracy or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and them.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete or current, that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a recommended product will suit your particular circumstances. 8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Top Home Plan and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any product purchased through a link on it. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Top Home Plan against any claim arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
10. Changes to the Site and to these Terms
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, and may revise these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in this clause deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
